PRODUCT USE

ATTENTION: Check the condition of the saw blade before use. If the blade is damaged, cracked,
bent, missing teeth, etc., replace it.
GENERAL OPERATIONAL RECOMMENDATIONS
The following recommendations are a guide to improve the safety and care of the machine. Not all recommendations
can be applied to all tasks; care and common sense must also be exercised when using the machine.
Use a dust extraction system. Connect the machine to the vacuum system via the dust connection.
Release the saw blade tension when the machine is not in use.
All protective and safety devices must be properly secured and operational.
Never clean the saw or saw guide while the machine is running.
Always place the saw guide as close to the workpiece as possible.
Use the bracket whenever possible.
Always use caution when handling the workpiece. Use the handle whenever possible, especially on narrower
items.
The motor has thermal overload protection. If the motor overheats, the thermal protection will automatically
activate and stop the machine. When the engine has cooled down sufficiently, the machine can be used again.

BASIC OPERATION

1.
Connect the machine to a 240 VAC power supply.
2.
Turn on the machine (A) and check that the blade is working smoothly; squeaking or grinding noises may
indicate incorrect machine settings.
3.
Turn the machine off (B).
4.
Adjust the blade guide (C) so that only the top of the workpiece is cleared. To adjust, loosen lock nut (D),
then turn adjustment knob (E) as necessary. Turn knob clockwise to raise guide; turn knob counterclockwise
to lower guide.
5.
If necessary, place the lamp.
6.
If necessary, connect the machine and the lamp (F).
7.
Cut the material, use the handle whenever possible to move the workpiece against the saw blade. Vary
the amount of pressure used to cut as needed. Note that thicker pieces of material or materials such as
hardwood will take longer to cut and may require additional pressure. Thin material may require a thinner
blade (more teeth) and less pressure to cut.
