Sensor:
C1 – LED diode: signal transmission from the sensor to the thermometer
C2 – battery compartment
C3 – wire sensor ca 0.95 m
Commissioning
1. Place the thermometer near the wireless sensor (within ca 30 cm).
2. Open the cover in the rear of the thermometer and in the rear of the sensor.
3. Insert 2× 1.5V AAA batteries into the thermometer and then 2× 1.5V, type AAA batteries into the sensor. Maintain
proper polarity of the inserted batteries according to the schematics on the bottom of the battery compartment!
Use alkali batteries only, do not use rechargeable batteries.
4. Close the cover.
If the L icon warns you about weak batteries, replace them.
Setting the clock
After inserting the batteries into the thermometer, the time value will go blinking for 60 seconds. Set the time
using the set/time button.
Hold the button to proceed faster.
After setting the hours and minutes the new value will be automatically stored after 7 seconds.
Reception of temperature values from the wireless sensor
After setting the time, the thermometer will start searching for a signal from the sensor. It takes 3 minutes.
The exterior temperature is shown in field A.
If the thermometer does not show the exterior temperature, push the buttons set/time and mem/reset simul-
taneously.
The thermometer will attempt to find the sensor signal again. It will take 3 minutes.
If the thermometer does not display data from the exterior sensor,
check the following:
• Distance of the thermometer or sensor from sources of interference such as computer monitors or television
sets. The distance should be at least 2 meters.
• If the thermometer or the sensor is not near metal objects and frames (e.g. window frames).
• If the thermometer function is not affected by other appliances operating on a similar frequency (wireless
headset, wireless control of window blinds, gates, garage doors etc.) or wireless appliances used next door.
We recommend locating the sensor on the northern side of the house. In built-up areas the sensor broadcast
range may drop rapidly.
The sensor is resistant to dripping water, but it must not be subjected to prolonged rain conditions.
Do not place the sensor on metallic objects, as it will shorten its broadcast range.
Temperature trend
The arrow shows the trend of the exterior temperature
(icon F) and interior temperatures (icon I).
Displaying the maximum and minimum exterior temperature
Push the set/time button to toggle field C, D from showing time to showing max/min exterior temperature values.
The maximum and minimum value of the measured exterior temperature is shown as rounded to 1 °C in the field
C (max) and field D (min)
The precise value of the max/min measured exterior temperature can be displayed in field A if you push the mem/
reset button repeatedly.
The measured values are reset to zero automatically every day at 0:00.
Warning about the icing
If the exterior temperature is in the range -3 °C to +1 °C, a snowflake icon will be shown in the field E.
