Fail safe with programming con-
nector:
With the PRO 306 receiver , it is pos-
sible to input the positions the servos
must move to in case of interference.
The receiver is supplied programmed
in HOLD, this means that in case of
interference, the servos will stay in
their last valid positions.
The choice of "FAIL SAFE" or "HOLD"
is done with the programming con-
nector. Turn on the transmitter, put the
sticks and pots in the desired posi-
tions in case of interference, connect
the programming connector and switch on the receiver.
Disconnect the programming connector within 10-20 sec -> The receiver will switch to Hold
mode. ( Fail safe positions are reset)
Disconnect the programming connector within 20-30 sec -> The receiver will switch to Fail
Safe mode. ( the servos will move to the desired positions in case of interference)
Installation of the receiver:
Wrap the receiver in thick foam, to protect it from vibrations. Turn on the transmitter first, then
the receiver. The antenna should be routed straight and away from electric motors and metal
tubes. Avoid glitches (metal to metal contact through vibration), electric motors should be sup-
pressed. Always perform a range check. With collapsed transmitter aerial, the model should
still function up to a distance of 60 meters.
