To set the planisphere (constellations)
to the correct position, you must
adjust the watch to the correct sign
of the Zodiac. To do this, pull the
crown out carefully to position
2
Now turn the crown so that the
hands point to 12:00 (in winter
time) or 13:00 (in summer time).
Then set the crown to position
1
by pushing it in completely and
then pulling it out by one position.
Now turn the crown so that the
constellations begin to turn. Make
sure that the present sign of the
Zodiac (see illustration) is visible
at the bottom of the watch face (at
the 6 o'clock position). Then pull
the crown back out to position
2
and move the hands forward to
the correct time. When the hands
show the right time, then push the
crown in again completely.

Functionalities
The watch face is formed by a
planisphere that rotates 366 (365 +1)
times each year. The extra rotation
is necessary because our solar
system, which includes the Earth,
moves in relations to other solar
systems. The planisphere consists
of stars and constellations that are
visible from the northern hemisphere.
The window displays the stars and
constellations that are visible from
Earth at that moment.
