Solar Lantern
Please read the entire instruction manual before using the product and
then save it for future reference. We reserve the right for any errors in

Safety
Important
• Handle the product with care. Make sure that the surface of the
solar cell is not damaged, covered with dust or adversely affected
by other contaminants.
• Never attempt to repair or modify the product in any way.
• Repairs must only be carried out by qualified service technicians
and only using original spare parts.
• The battery must ONLY be replaced with a rechargeable battery.
• Never let children play with the product.
Assembly
Warning
Make sure that the wall has no concealed electrical wiring, gas or
water pipes before drilling/screwing. Use an appropriate fastening
method for the substrate material in question.
Things to consider:
• The solar lantern should be placed where it is exposed to direct
sunlight. Placing the solar lantern in a location shaded by buildings,
trees, walls, etc. will reduce the ability of the solar cell to charge the
battery.
• Do not place the solar lantern within the illumination zone of other
light sources such as car headlights or street lights.
• The solar lantern is intended for outdoor use but it should not be
placed where it may be immersed in water or other liquid.
• The solar lantern should not be placed next to direct sources of
heat such as a brazier or BBQ.
• If you have several solar lights they can come on at different times
depending on the lighting conditions.

1. Mark out on the wall where
you need to drill or screw.
2. Screw the hook to the wall
and hang up the solar
lantern.
Instructions for use
The light bulb installed in the lantern is fixed and cannot be
replaced. When the bulb reaches the end of its life the whole lantern
must be discarded.
1. Lift the solar cell out
of the lantern and set
the power switch to ON.
2. When placing the product
outdoors, make sure that
it has access to maximum
sunlight and is not affected
by other light sources such
as street lights.
3. The light bulb in the lantern
comes on automatically at
dusk/in the dark (as long as
the battery has been charged) and turns off at dawn/when it's light.
Care and maintenance
• Clean the solar lantern by wiping it carefully with a soft, dry cloth.
• The solar cell should be cleaned regularly to prevent dirt and debris
from affecting its performance. Be careful to avoid scratching or
damaging the solar cell in any way.

Battery replacement
The rechargeable battery can be replaced as follows:
1. Set the power switch to OFF.
2. Remove the two screws on
the bottom of the lid.
3. Remove the back cover. Be
careful not to damage the wires,
contacts or circuit board.
4. Replace the batteries. Ensure
the polarity is correct before
inserting the battery.
5. Screw the back cover back on.
6. Set the power switch to ON.
Responsible disposal
This symbol indicates that the product should not be
disposed of with general household waste. This applies
throughout the entire EU. In order to prevent any harm
to the environment or health hazards caused by incor-
rect waste disposal, the product must be handed in for
recycling so that the material can be disposed of in a
responsible manner. When recycling your product, take
it to your local collection facility or contact the place of
purchase. They will ensure that the product is disposed
of in an environmentally sound manner.
