Der DP / AS-Interface F-Link kann nichtsichere und sichere AS-i Slaves auswerten und
über PROFIBUS an einen DP-Master weitergeben. Sicherheitskritische Daten werden
dabei in PROFIsafe-Telegramme verpackt. Dabei unterstützt der DP / AS-i F-Link bis
zu 31 AS-i Slaves (Sichere Eingangsslaves oder Standard-Slaves) oder bis zu
62 A/B-Slaves, bzw. auch Kombinationen davon.
Unter Berücksichtigung der Umgebungsbedingungen müssen die Geräte in
Schaltschränke der Schutzart IP32, IP43 oder IP54 eingebaut werden.

Projektieren:
Der DP/AS-i F-Link wird im Engineering Tool als DP-Slave eingebunden. Die dafür

• Setup für den Object Manager (SIMATIC, SINUMERIK F-Master)
• GSD für Anbindung unter fehlersicheren Steuerungen von Drittanbietern

The DP/AS-Interface F-Link can evaluate non-safe and safe AS-i slaves and forward
this data to a DP master via PROFIBUS. Safety-critical data are packed in PROFIsafe
message frames. The DP/AS-i F-Link supports up to 31 AS-i slaves (safe input slaves
or standard slaves) or up to 62 A/B slaves, or combinations thereof.
Taking the ambient conditions into account, you must install the devices in control
cabinets with the IP32, IP43 or IP54 degree of protection.

The DP/AS-i F-Link is integrated in the engineering tool as a DP slave. The files
