Thanks for having purchased the Joyello Baby Scale, thanks to which you can weigh your baby
whenever you want and at home.
Before starting using the unit, it is advisable to read carefully this instruction manual. It is also
advisable to save this manual for a future use.
WARNINGS
Use this appliance only for the purposes shown in this instruction manual. Any other
purpose should be considered dangerous. Before starting using the appliance, please
check that the product is in perfect conditions, without damages. In case of doubts,
please address to a specialised centre. Never try to repair
the unit by yourself, but always address to a specialised centre. Always place and store
the product away from heating sources, sunlight, dampness and sharp objects. When
the unit is not used for a long period of time, it is advisable to remove the battery as a
possible leaking can damage the product. Always store the unit out of children reach.
This appliance may be used by children of more than 8 years of age, persons with
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or inexpert persons only if they have been
previously trained in using it in a safe manner, and only if they have been informed of
the dangers the product can cause. Children may not play with the appliance. Children
may not clean or carry out any maintenance on the appliance without adult supervision.
This scale is not to be used to determine the weight of objects or substances involved
in commercial transactions, for the manufacture of medicines, for calculating tolls,
tariffs, taxes, premiums, fines, wages, indemnities or other, similar charges calculated
on the basis of weight. This scale can be used to control the weight of children, but
it should not be used for diagnostic activities or medical treatments. Weights which
appear unusual or abnormal should always be discussed with the child's physician. The
baby scale should never be used by adults, but only by children who weight no more
than 20 Kg, in order to avoid damaging the product's hardware and/or software, and
especially to keep from distorting the calibration, all of which would void the guarantee
due to improper use. In order to avoid danger to the user of this device, the doses of
any drug or therapy prescribed by one's own doctor should in no circumstances be
modified on the basis of data calculated by this device. NB: to avoid possible injury, do
not step on the edge of the platform. Packaging components (plastic bags, cardboard,
polystyrene etc.) must be kept out of the reach of children as they have the potential
to be dangerous and their disposal should be carried out according to the current
regulations.
