BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME

To avoid hazards, please check (when you have unpacked it ) that the
appliance is complete, and that no damage has occurred during transit.
Do not use it if in any doubt, but contact our customer service.
Your appliance has been packed to protect it from damage during transit.
• Carefully remove appliance from packaging.
• Remove all packaging materials.
• Remove any remaining packaging dust from the appliance and
components following the instructions given in the section entitled
"CLEANING AND CARE".

USING THE APPLIANCE

• Place the appliance close to a shockproof socket, ensuring that
there is free access to it.
• Place the appliance on an even, dry, non-slip and heat resistant
surface. The surface should be easy to clean as splashes are not
always avoidable.
ATTACHING THE HANDLE TO THE FRYING BASKET
• Hold the detachable handle (G) in your hand and press the two
angled ends of the wire legs together. Slide the legs into the eyelets
provided on the inside of the frying basket (D). Make sure that the
handle is inclined towards the inside of the basket.
• After the angled ends have been inserted in the eyelets, fold the
handle outwards as far as it will go, until you feel the two legs snap
into place in the securing mechanism on the frying basket(D).Make
sure that they are secured firmly.
