Switch on:
To switch on, press and hold the multifunction key for about two seconds. The headset beeps, and
green indicator light is briefly displayed.

Switch off:

To switch off, press and hold the multifunction key for about three seconds. The headset beeps, and
the red indicator light is briefly displayed. If the headset is not connected to a device for 10 minutes, it
switches off automatically.
Pairing:
1. If the headset has not been previously paired with a device, to switch on the headset and pair,
press and hold the multifunction key for approximately four seconds. The headset will enter the
pairing mode when the blue indicator light starts to flash rapidly.
2. Activate the Bluetooth feature on your phone or music player, and set it to search for
Bluetooth devices.
3. Select "HS-980BT" from the list of devices found on you phone or music player.
4. If the device requires you to enter a code, enter the password 0000 to pair and connect the
headset to your device.
Calls
To make a call, use your mobile phone in the normal way when the headset is connected to it.
To redial the number you last called, (if your phone supports this features with the headset), if no call
is in progress, short press the multifunction key.
To answer or end a call, short press the multifunction key, or use the phone key.
To reject a call, press the multifunction key for about two seconds.
Music
To listen to music, connect the headset to a compatible music player that supports the A2DP
Bluetooth profile. To play a song, select it in the music player and press the Play/pause key.
To stop playing, press the Play/pause key while playing. To adjust the volume, press the volume up or
down key. To mute the volume during a call or while listening to music, just quickly press and hold
either key. To select the next song during playback, press the forward key once. To select the
previous song, press the rewind key once. To scroll through the current song, press and hold either
key.
Clear setting and reset
To clear the pair setting from the headset, switch on the headset, press and hold the multi-function
key and the volume down key for eight seconds until the green, red, and blue indicator lights alternate
three times. To reset the headset, connect the headset to the charger, and press both the
multi-function key and volume up key together.
Charge
The headset has been fully charged before it was shipped out from the factory. To charge the headset,
connect the charging cable to a USB port then connect the charging cable to the charger connector.
The red indicator light will display during charging. When the battery is fully charged, the green
indicator light will display. The charging time takes about one hour.
