19. Cautionary Notes:
• The appliance contains high precision components. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures,
humidity, dust and direct sunlight. Do not drop the appliance and protect it against violent knocks.
Should this occur, contact your nearest dealer or an authorised after-sales centre to check the
appliance.
• Please note that this is a home healthcare product only and it is not intended to serve as a
substitute for the advice of a physician or medical professional.
• Leaky batteries can damage the unit. Remove the batteries when the unit is not used for a long
time.
• The unit should not be operated by children so to avoid hazardous situations.
• If the unit is stored near freezing, allow it to acclimate at room temperature before use.

warranty and may represent a hazard to the user. You should not use any tool to open the device

fibrillation), diabetes, poor circulation of blood, kidney problems, or for users suffered from stroke,
or for unconscious users, the device might not be suitable for use.
• Do not use this device for diagnosis or treatment of any health problem or disease. Measurement
results are for reference only. Consult a healthcare professional for interpretation of pressure
measurements. Contact your physician if you have or suspect any medical problem. Do not
change your medications without the advice of your physician or healthcare professional.
• Do not operate this blood pressure monitor close to strong electrical field, such as cellular phone,
microwave ovens, X-rays, etc.
• Clean the blood pressure monitor body and the cuff carefully with a slightly damp, soft cloth. Do
not press. Do not wash the cuff or use chemical cleaner on it. Never use thinner, alcohol or petrol
(gasoline) as cleaner.
• To stop operation at any time, press the START/STOP key, and the air in the cuff will be rapidly
exhausted.
• Once the inflation reaches 300 mmHg, the unit will start deflating rapidly for safety reason.
