Troubleshooting

Cause
Are the red plugs at the inlet, outlet and suction tube itting openings removed?
Is the unit installed backward? The arrow on the unit must point in the
direction of the luid low.
Has the new injector been stored for an extended period. If so, submerge the
injector in room temperature water for 24 hours so that the working parts can
reabsorb luid and swell back to the proper size.
If still not clicking, do not open the upper body. Call Dosmatic Customer
Service.
Fluid rate is below or exceeds rated service low of injector. (See Speciications
page 6).
If below increase low rate, if above, reduce low rate.
Operating pressure exceeds maximum limit. Install a pressure reducer valve.
(See Speciications for maximum low rate page 6).
On/Off Lever in off position. Place the On/Off lever switch to the ON position.
By-Pass Valve not closed. Check and set valve to the OFF position.
Cause
Replace # 9 Main Piston Assembly. Clean luid ilter.
Replace and install or clean luid ilter.
Place the On/Off lever switch to the ON position.
Set Valve to the closed position.
Ensure mesh size is correct for proper iltration. Clean ilter.
Re-seat #17 or replace.
Cause
Check for proper it, replace and/or clean as necessary.
Replace. Ensure during maintenance replacement that #44 dosage
piston was installed correctly lared-end up.
Install correctly.
Replace, on 0.4% models replace #51 Shaft Assembly.
Clean & replace as necessary.
Cause
Replace, on 0.4% models replace #51 Shaft Assembly.
Replace.
Replace #17 O-ring.
Replace # 9 Main Piston Assembly. Clean luid ilter.
Replace and install or clean luid ilter
Cause
Check seat area on suction tube itting #11. Check valve and seal must
it loose in the suction tube itting. Clean seal and inside itting for debris.
Replace with new check valve assembly.
