Batteries OK

Batteries low: when this icon is blinking and the device emits a low battery sound alert

(sounds every 3 minutes), it is recommended to install new batteries or recharge them.

3. Installing / Recharging Batteries

1. Make sure the unit is switched off. Press the button on the belt clip and turn it 90° clockwise or counterclockwise.

2. Open the battery compartment and take the battery compartment cover off.

3. Insert 3 AAA-batteries, respecting the polarity.

4. Put the battery compartment cover back on & lock it. Rotate the belt clip back into its normal position.

Always replace all batteries at once. Do not mix old with new ones. Do not mix different battery types or batteries of different capacity. Do not

mix rechargeable and non-rechargeable batteries.

Rechargeable batteries and an adapter are available as an optional accessory pack (order code PMR3AP).

If you've installed rechargeable batteries:

- The charging time is approximately 5 hours (which gives you a standby time of 10 to 15 hours, or 2 to 3 hours of continuous use)

- Plug the charging adapter into the jack (fig.1 #7) and switch on the PMR3. The battery level indicator (fig.2 #5) flashes while the batteries are

charging and stops flashing when the batteries are fully charged.

- The unit can still receive signals while it is being charged, but the CALL and PTT functions are unavailable.

Seite 1 - The charging time is approximately 5 hours (which gives you a standby time of 10 to 15 hours, or 2 to 3 hours of continuous use) - Plug the charging adapter into the jack (fig.1 #7) and switch on the PMR3. The battery level indicator (fig.2 #5) flashes while the batteries are charging and stops flashing when the batteries are fully charged.

RF energy, therefore it is recommended not to use your PMR there in order to avoid electromagnetic interference. - Use a soft moist cloth to clean your PMR3. Do not use chemical agents as they may harm the housing of the unit and leak inside, causing permanent damage.

- De laadtijd bedraagt ongeveer 5 uur (goed voor een waaktijd van 10 tot 15 uur of 2 tot 3 uur continu gebruik). - Sluit de adapter aan op zijn aansluiting (fig.1 #7) op de PMR3 en zet deze aan. De indicator van het batterijniveau (fig.2 #5) knippert terwijl de batterijen opgeladen worden en stopt met knipperen als de batterijen opgeladen zijn.
Seite 5 - Gebruik dit toestel niet in een te stoffige of vochtige omgeving of op plaatsen waar het extreem warm of koud is. - Zet uw PMR3 uit op plaatsen waar borden hangen dat u dit dient te doen, zoals in een vliegtuig of ziekenhuis. De meeste medische centra gebruiken toestellen die gevoelig zijn voor externe radiofrequente stralen.

- Mantenga el PMR3 alejado de polvo, humedad o temperaturas extremas. - Desactive el PMR3 siempre que esté prohibido su uso, como p. ej. en un avión u hospital. En la mayoría de los centros sanitarios se usan aparatos sensibles a las señales externas RF. Por lo tanto, no use el aparato para evitar interferencias electromagnéticas.

- Die Ladezeit beträgt ungefähr 5 Stunden (für eine Wachzeit von 10 bis 15 Stunden oder 2 bis 3 Stunden kontinuierlichen Betrieb). - Schließen Sie den Adapter an die Anschlussbuchse des PMR3 an (siehe Abb.1 #7) und schalten Sie das PMR3 ein. Die Anzeige des Ladevorgangs (Abb.2 #5) der Batterie blinkt während die Batterien geladen werden und hört auf wenn die Batterien voll geladen sind.

- Das Gerät nicht in einer staubigen oder feuchten Umgebung und an extrem warmen oder Kalten Orten anwenden. - Schalten Sie Ihr PMR3 aus an Orten, wo es sich gehört wie z.B. im Flugzeug oder im Krankenhaus. Die meisten medizinischen Zentren benutzen Apparate die gegen externe Hochfrequenzen empfindlich sind.
