1. Operating Instructions
1. Connect the AC adapter jack with the charger (adapter is included).
2. Insert 1 to 4 AA / AAA / C / D and/or 1 to 2 Ni-Cd and Ni-MH 9V-cells in the battery compartment. Do not be afraid to mix Ni-MH with Ni-
Cd batteries.
3. Charging without discharging for AA, AAA, C and D batteries.
A microprocessor controls the charging process. Plug the AC adapter into a mains outlet. The red LED will light up and the fast-charge
mode is activated. When the battery is charged, the red LED will extinguish and the green LED will come on to indicate that the trickle-
charge mode has been activated. The charged batteries are now ready for use.
4. Charging with discharging for AA, AAA, C and D batteries.
Plug the AC adapter into a mains outlet and press the red DISCHARGE button within 30 seconds. The red LED will start to flash to
indicate that the discharge mode has been activated. When the discharge has been completed, the red LED will stop flashing and stay
ON permanently to indicate that the fast-charge mode has been activated. When the battery is charged, the red LED will extinguish and
the green LED will come on to indicate that the trickle-charge mode has been activated. The charged batteries are now ready for use.
5. The one red LED between the two slots for 9V cells lights when 9V-cells are placed in the charger. The red LED extinguishes when the
charging process is completed.
6. Unplug the charger and remove the batteries from the charger when the latter is not in use.
2. Special Feature
This device automatically detects defective AA, AAA, C or D batteries.
Insert the batteries in the charging slots and do not press the red button. The red LED lights up and the charger detects the current status
of the battery. The red LED will extinguish or start to flash and the battery will stop charging if it is not suitable for recharging.

4. Safety Prescriptions
• Do not expose this device to rain or moisture and only use it indoors.
• Only insert rechargeable Ni-Cd and/or Ni-MH batteries. Any attempt to recharge other battery types or non-rechargeable batteries may
result in injury and will damage the device.
• Children should not be allowed to use this device or play with it.
• Note that the use of non-rechargeable batteries may cause those batteries to explode!!

1. Sluit de jack van de meegeleverde AC adapter aan op de lader.
2. Stop 1 à 4 AA / AAA / C / D en/of 1 à 2 Ni-Cd en Ni-MH 9V-blokbatterijen in het batterijvak. U kunt Ni-MH en Ni-Cd batterijen rustig door
elkaar gebruiken.
3. Opladen zonder ontladen voor AA, AAA, C en D batterijen.
Het laadproces wordt gestuurd door een microprocessor. Stop de AC adapter in een stopcontact. De rode LED gaat branden en de
snellaadmode wordt geactiveerd. De rode LED dooft wanneer de batterij is opgeladen. De groene LED licht nu op om aan te geven dat
de mode voor het druppelladen is geactiveerd. De batterijen zijn nu gebruiksklaar.
4. Opladen met ontladen voor AA, AAA, C en D batterijen.
Stop de AC adapter in een stopcontact en druk binnen de 30 seconden op de rode DISCHARGE knop ("ontladen"). De rode LED licht op
om aan te geven dat de ontlaadmode is geactiveerd. Na het ontladen stopt de rode LED met knipperen en blijft nu constant branden om
aan te geven dat de snellaadmode is geactiveerd. De rode LED dooft wanneer de batterij is opgeladen. De groene LED licht nu op om
aan te geven dat de mode voor het druppelladen is geactiveerd. De opgeladen batterijen zijn nu gebruiksklaar.
