OPERATION WITH AN eMOTION XL DECODER:
Starting with V1.2 the eMOTION XL Decoder recognizes automatically the program-
ming mode and subsequently switches off the charging mode. Installing the switch is
therefore not necessary. For this operation function output F5 is used.
–
Program the eMOTION Decoder CV 118 to "31" before connecting
the eMOTION Power Buffer to the decoder.

Use the wire diagram below; connect the red and black wire
as described before. Connect the white wire to F5.
–
On the eMOTION XLS Sounddecoder it connects to F4 (check CV setting for F4)
Now you can drive and program/read the decoder with maximum comfort.
