GENERAL NOTICE
General notice for users and installers
• Changes or modifications not explained/approved in this manual voids your authority to operate
this equipment.
• Santon shall not be held responsible for any damage caused due to incorrect installation of the product and/or
the misunderstanding of this manual.
• Santon reserves the right to make any modification to this manual or the information contained herein at any time
without notice.
• No design data such as sample pictures provided in this manual may be modified or duplicated except for the
purpose of personal use.
• To ensure the recycling of all possible materials and proper disposal treatment of components, please return the
product to Santon at end-of-life.
• The Arc Fault Detection unit is explicitly designed to detect series arcs in a system. It does not detect all sorts of
other system faults.
• Make sure the alarm signal can be well heard and proper follow up in case of an alarm is guaranteed.
• Check the system regularly (monthly) on faults.

• Santon ist nicht für Schäden haftbar, die durch die fehlerhafte Installation des Produkts und/oder der
Fehlinterpretation dieses Handbuches entstehen.
• Santon behält sich das Recht vor, jederzeit und ohne vorherige Ankündigung Veränderungen an diesem Handbuch
und den darin enthaltenen Informationen vorzunehmen.
• Sämtliche Designdaten, wie etwa Beispielsbilder, die in diesem Handbuch zur Verfügung gestellt werden, dürfen
nicht verändert oder vervielfältigt werden, es sei denn, für den persönlichen Gebrauch.
• Bitte senden Sie das Produkt am Ende dessen Lebenszyklus zurück an Santon, um das Recyceln aller in Frage
kommenden Materialien und die fachgerechte Entsorgung von Abfällen zu garantieren.
• Die Arc-Fehlererkennungseinheit wurde speziell dazu entworfen, Serien Lichtbogen Arcs in einem System zu
erkennen. Sie erkennt nicht alle anderen Arten von Systemfehlern.
• Achten Sie darauf, dass das Alarmsignal gut zu hören ist, und befolgen Sie im Alarmfall die entsprechenden
Anweisungen.
• Überprüfen Sie das System regelmäßig (monatlich) auf Fehler.

• L'Unité de détection d'arc électrique est spécialement conçue pour détecter les séries arcs électriques dans un
système. Elle n'est pas capable de détecter tous les autres types de défauts susceptibles de survenir dans un système.
• Veillez à ce que le signal d'alarme soit clairement audible et à ce que le déclenchement d'une alarme entraîne
systématiquement la prise de mesures adéquates.
• Vérifiez le système régulièrement (une fois par mois) pour vous assurer de la détection des défauts.
