This product complies with the national and European legal requirements.
Intended use
The LED stroboscope is used to generate lighting effects on dancing floors, in party
basements etc.
It is only approved for connection to 230 Volt~/50 Hz alternating current. Do not use any
other power supply.
The product may only be used indoors; never outdoors. Do not expose to moisture, under
any circumstances.
Any other use than that described above, could lead to damage to this product and involves
the risk of short circuits, fire, electric shock, etc.
No part of the product should be modified or reassembled.
Observe all the safety and installation instructions contained in these
operating instructions.

Symbols
This symbol on the device indicates that the user must read these
operating instructions prior to using the product.
The exclamation mark indicates important information in these operating
instructions that should always be observed.
A lightning-bolt symbol in a triangle indicates a health hazard, e.g. danger
of electric shock. The device contains no parts that should be serviced by
the user. Therefore, do not open the device.
The "hand" symbol indicates special information and advice on operating
the device.
The F symbol indicates that the device is suitable for direct attachment on
normally flammable surfaces.

Safety instructions

The warranty will be void in the event of damage caused by failure to
observe these safety instructions. We do not assume liability for any
resulting damage.
We do not assume any liability for material and personal damage caused
by improper use or non-compliance with the safety instructions. The
warranty will be void in such cases.
• For safety and approval (CE) reasons, unauthorised conversion and/or modifications to
the product are not permitted.
• The product is designed to safety class II and must only be used with a socket connected
to the public electric grid.
• Never touch the mains plug with wet or damp hands. There is a risk of a lethal electric
shock!
• If the power cable is damaged, do not touch it. First, switch off the appropriate mains
socket (e.g. via the respective circuit-breaker) and then carefully pull the mains plug from
the socket. If the device does not work, take it to a specialist workshop! Never use the
product if the power cable is damaged.
• Never look directly into the light source when the device is in operation. The intense light
rays could temporarily impair your eyesight. Moreover, they may trigger epileptic fits. This
applies in particular to epileptics.
• Do not operate the effect lamp when it is unattended.
• Check the device once in a while for damages.
• Do not expose the device to high temperatures, dripping or sprayed water, strong
vibrations or heavy mechanical stress.
• Never place vessels or containers containing liquids, such as glasses, buckets, vases or

plants, on the device or in the direct vicinity of the system. Liquids may seep into the
casing and thus impair the electrical safety of the device. Furthermore, there is a sig-
nificant risk of fire or of a lethal electric shock! If this is the case, de-energise the appro-

priate socket (e.g. switch off circuit breaker) before removing the plug-in mains unit from

the socket. Afterwards, the product can no longer be used; take it to a specialist work-
shop.
• Do not place naked flames, such as burning candles, on or close to the device.
• Only use the device in a temperate climate, never in a tropical climate.
• This product is not a toy, it is not suitable for children. Children are not aware of the
potential dangers when using electrical devices.
• Do not leave packing materials unattended. It may become a dangerous plaything for
children.
• In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regulations of the Employer's Liability
Insurance Association for Electrical Systems and Operating Materials are to be
observed.
• If in doubt about how to connect the device correctly, or should any questions arise that
are not answered in these operating instructions, please contact our technical advisory
service or another specialist.
• If the device is used in commercial institutions, the managing director is responsible for
an installation that meets the safety regulations and is proven by an expert.

Installation

• Install the effect beamer using a mounting bracket (1) on the ceiling, the wall or on a suit-
able crossbeam. When installing it, make sure that the device cannot swing freely.
• Secure the device with fastenings that are compatible with the fastening surface and suit-
able for carrying the weight of the light effect device.
• Secure the installation with an additional suitable safety restraint cable or net. The safety
restraint cable or net must be able of supporting the light effect device in the event of a
fault in the main support system.
• Set the desired angle of inclination and then tighten the bracket locking screws.
The assembly and the installation of the device must be carried out by a
specialist who is familiar with the hazards and the relevant regulations.
Maintenance, operation and start-up of the product may only be carried out
by qualified personnel.
While selecting the place of installation for your device, take care not to
expose it to shaking, vibrations, dust, heat, cold or moisture. Furthermore,
keep the product away from strong transformers or motors.
The light effect may only be operated in locations where the ambient tem-
perature is less than 45°C.
The device must be mounted out of normal reach.
Illuminated objects must be at least 1 m away from the device's light emis-
sion. Easily-flammable materials such as decorative fabrics must have at
least a distance of 0.5m to the device. Otherwise such objects might catch
fire!
When installing the product, make sure that the mains cable is not
pinched or damaged by sharp edges.
During installation and service work, the area underneath the place of
installation must be cordoned off.
The installation surface, or mounting fixture, must be designed so that it
can withstand 10 times the loading capacity for at least 1 hour without
permanent damaging deformation.
It is also essential that the device is secured by means of a second safety
restraint, which is independent of the proper mounting supports, when it
is installed in an elevated position. If the main supports fail, no part of the
installation should be able to fall down.
Observe all the relevant regulations when installing the device. These
regulations may differ from country to country. Therefore, ask your local
authorities before installation.
Acceptance test (in the case of industrial/public use):
Before first use and after any significant modifications, the installation (including
the electrical connections) must be checked by a specialist.
An annual check by a technical expert is required.
At least every four years the device should be checked and approved by a
specialist.
