PRECAUTIONS • the appliance is for home use only. Do not use
for industrial purposes. • before the first operating make sure that
the voltage in your wall outlet is the same as on the appliance's
rating label marked. • before using an extension cord, make
sure it is suitable for such a load, otherwise it may overheat and
cause a risk of fire. • when operation the appliance should be
placed on a flat horizontal surface far from the edge to avoid
overturning. • when first time of use, there will be a slight
smoke and smell coming out. They come from the heating
elements and are harmless. • the metal parts on top will
be heating up! DANGER OF BURNING! • always unplug the
appliance when it is not in use. Do not pull the cord to unplug
the appliance. • unplug the appliance and let it cool down before
moving to another place. • do not let the turned on appliance
be unattended. • keep the appliance 1 meter away from the
combustible materials such as furniture, cushions, bedding,
paper, clothes, curtains, etc. • the appliance gets very hot during
work, avoid touching it. Operate the appiance using knobs and
carriage control lever. • carriage control lever must be in the
up position before disconnecting the plug from wall outlet. • do
not attempt to dislodge jammed food while the item is pluged
in. • oversize loads of bread, food in foil packages or utensils
must not be inserted in the appliance, as they may cause
the risk of fire or electrical shock. • don't place the bread
directly over toasting slots. This could cause a fire. • do
not use the appliance in the rooms with explosive gas or while
using inflammable solvents, varnish or glue. • do not cover the
appliance by any items (blanket, towel, etc.) to avoid damage of
the appliance or fire. • do not expose the appliance to fall down
or to be kicked. • if the surface of the appliance is damaged,
unplug it to avoid the possibility of electric shock and bring it
to an authorized service centre for repair. • do not insert any
objects into the appliance. • do not use the appliance with wet
hands. • do not use the appliance in the wet places (bath, etc.).
• do not use the appliance in the immediate surroundings of
bath, shower or swimming pool. • never immerse the appliance
or power cord into the water. • if the appliance came in contact
with water, unplug it immediately. Do not use it again until it
has been checked by an authorized service center. • do not
use the damaged appliance or appliance with damaged cord /

plug. • do not use the appliance with the damaged wall outlet.
• do not let the cord hang over the edge of table or touch any
hot surfaces. • do not use the appliance near or on the hot
surfaces. • always unplug the appliance before cleaning. • do
not use any abrasive, chemical, alcohol-contained cleansers or
polish for cleaning the appliance. • clean the appliance after
each use. Do not let the crumbs accumulate in the crumb
tray. • let the appliance cool down before cleaning. • use the
appliance only for it's direct purpose. • repair the appliance only
in authorized service centre. Do not repair the appliance by
yourself! If the opening of the appliance is detected, the
appliance's guarantee will be cancelled. • incorrect operation
and improper handling can lead to malfunction of the appliance
and injuries to the user. • if the appliance has been used with
infringement of guide's instructions, the appliance's guarantee
would be canceled and consumer would repair the appliance
at his/her expense. • close supervision is necessary when the
appliance is used near children. • do not let children use or play
with the appliance. • this appliance is not intended for use by
persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities,
or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of appliance by
a person responsible for their safety.
STORAGE Store the appliance empty in clean place, far from
children. While transportation of appliance it should be dry and
empty.
NOTE: The manufacturer reserves the right, without prior notice,
to make changes in the product that do not impair its technical
characteristics, and are the result of improvements in its design
or production technology.
DISPOSAL Dispose the appliance in an environmentally
friendly manner. It should not be disposed with the
normal household waste. Please dispose it at a
recycling centre for used electrical and electronic
devices. You can obtain more information from your
local authorities.
