RoHS STATEMENT
This Paul Mitchell® appliance complies with the RoHS Directive.
The RoHS Directive stands for "the restriction of the use of certain
hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment".
This Directive bans the placing on the EU market of new electrical
and electronic equipment containing more than agreed levels of lead,
cadmium, mercury, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyl
(PBB) and polybrominated diphenyl ether (PBDE) flame retardants.
WEEE STATEMENT
The Symbol shown here and on Paul Mitchell® tools means that
the product is classed as Electrical equipment and should not be
disposed of with other household or commercial waste at the end of
its working life.
The Waste of Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive
(2002/96/EC) has been put in place to recycle products using best
available recovery and recycling techniques to minimize the impact
on the environment, to treat any hazardous substance and avoid
increasing landfill sites.
