Important Safety Instructions
1. Read all instructions before use.
2. Save these instructions for later use.
3. Follow all warnings and instructions marked on the product.
4. Unplug this product from the wall outlet before cleaning. The housing can be
cleaned with cloth, dampened with a mild soap and water solution. (Do not use
scouring powder, benzine, petrol or thinners)
5. Place this product as close as possible to power source for quick and easy
unplugging.
6. Do not use this product near water.
7. This product should never be placed near or over a radiator or heat source.
8. Avoid spilling liquids on the product.
9. Unplug this product from the wall outlet and refer servicing to qualified personnel
under the following conditions:
A• When the power cord or plug is damaged or frayed.
B• If liquid has been spilled on the product.
C• If the product does not operate normally when the operating instructions are
followed.
10. Do not allow anything to rest on the power cord. Do not place this product where
people may walk on the cord.
11. This product should be operated from the type of power source indicated on the
serial label. If you are not sure of the type of power available, consult your dealer or
local electricity board.
12. Do not attempt to service this product yourself, because opening or removing
covers may expose you to dangerous live parts or other risks.

Do not attempt to shred paper clip, staples, laminated items, photo, plastic bag or
cloth material, they may damage the cutting system.
3.
Do not insert wet paper since it may twine around the cutter and damage the
machine.
4.
To ensure the shredder's best capacity, it is advised to shred 12/15/6 sheets per pass
as the continuous operation; exceeding the designed shred capacity should be
avoided since the gear and motor can be damaged.
5.
Continuous operation should not exceed 170 sheets. When shredding for a long
period of time or leaving the shredder "ON" when paper is jammed, the motor may
stop as the result of overheating. If this occurs, please switch off the main power
and allow the motor to cool before resuming operation.
6.
Use "Reverse" only when necessary, frequent reverse operation may cause paper
particle to accumulate around the entrance and affect proper shredding.
7.
Always turn off and unplug the machine before moving, servicing, cleaning or any
other conduct other than normal operation. Serious injury may result.
Operation – How to shred
1.
Insert main plug in power outlet. Turn the Main Power Switch to the "On/Auto"
position. The machine is in the waiting condition.
2.
Neatly insert the paper into the feed opening vertically and the machine will start
automatically and resume waiting condition afterwards.
3.
To clear the wastebasket, always turn off the Main Power Switch first, and then lift
the head off the wastebasket.
4.
If a paper jam occurs, depress the reverse button to remove the jammed material. It
may be necessary to pull out the jammed paper carefully by hand. Commence
shredding with small quantities so as not to jam the machine further.
Checklist for Malfunctions:
If the equipment does not work properly, please check the following points first:
Is your shredder plugged in?
Is the main power switch "ON"?
Is your shredder jammed with paper?
Is the motor overheated?
Is the front flap door properly closed? (If the door is not closed tightly the switch
can not allows you to operate the machine.)
If none of the above applies and the equipment still does not run, please contact our
