The scale is overloaded. Remove excess weight.
The display shows Lo.
The scale is low on power. Replace the batteries.
The scale is weighing inaccurately.
Check the battery power level. Low power can cause inaccurate readouts.

This device does not need any particular maintenance. Occasionally wipe with a damp cloth to keep it
