Maintenance and periodic testing reserved for authorised

Carry out testing of the magnet and electric circuits (AC-58-B, page 34), open the drain
of the spittoon and check the starting of the aspirating group, the timer which regulates
the functioning of the aspirator and the functioning of the re-circulator on the centrifugal
separator.
Once a year replace the rubber membrane on the valve (part. 5), the O-rings, all the
plastic hose, with particular attention to the pipes under pressure. Do not use any other
types of hose. Request originals from Cattani S.p.A. Do not perform repairs unless you
are supplied with original replacements.
Always treat rubber, membranes, O-rings and plastic hoses with: Lubri-Jet.

Important warnings

• The manufacturer is available to supply spare parts, documentation, instructions and
anything else which might be of use.
• Dealers, agents, salespeople and authorised assistance technicians are always sup-
plied with blown-up charts, electrical charts, instructions and updates with regards to
assistance and maintenance.
• The guarantee and the responsibility of the manufacturer expire where the equipment
and/or installations are tampered with operations of any nature carried out by persons
who are not appropriate and therefore not authorised by the manufacturer.
• For any use which is not outlined and specifi ed in this manual, consult the manufacturer.
• The manuals are not always up-to-date with production and safety norms.

Transportation and storage

• During transportation and storage, the packaged equipment can be subjected to
temperatures of -10 and +60 °C.
• Boxes must not be exposed to water and spraying, and will not withstand humidity
over 70%.
• Boxes may be stacked up to three levels if of the same weight.

Transportation of used equipment

• Before packing, clean and sanitise with PULI-JET (see chapter "Maintenance").
• Close the equipment inside a polythene bag and pack in corrugated cardboard.
