1. General information

1.1 Safety information

1.1.1 Basic safety principles

This device is built in line with the state-of-the-art and accepted safety regulations. However,
dangers for the user or third parties as well as damage to the device and other objects can
occur if it:

is used by untrained or unauthorized personnel

is put to unintended use,

is not properly maintained or serviced.

The device may only be used indoors!

The device must only be used with original WINTERSTEIGER spare
parts/consumables.
Any use of third-party materials is at the operator's own risk and sole
responsibility; note that this will void your warranty.

Place the device on a solid and flat surface.

Never block the ventilation openings at the sides of the device. Do not put
flammable products directly on or next to the Tech Dry.

Never drop or insert any object into any opening of device.

Use device only for purpose intended and described in this manual.

Close supervision is necessary when this device is used by or near children.

Do not immerse cord or plug and this product in water.

If device is dropped into water, do not try to retrieve until first unplugging cord
from electrical outlet. Reaching into water to retrieve device while plugged into
electrical outlet may result in death!

Never touch the heated zones of the device.

Some electrical parts are electrically live even with Tech Dry shut off!

The Tech Dry contains electronic components! Always use the supplied power
cable, or a suitable equivalent cable. Observe the technical information (see
the technical description page 15) of this document.

Check the compatibility of the device with the existing power supply.

Keep cord away from hot surfaces. Do not wrap cord around device.

If device cord or plug is damaged or device is not working properly, return
device to authorized Hotronic dealer or nearest Hotronic distributor.

Avoid knocks and impact when transporting the device.

Report any transit damage and/or missing parts to the supplier without delay.

Dimensions and weights can be found in the technical description (page 15).

The owner/operator of the device must not make any changes, additions or
modifications to the device that could affect its safety without authorization
from WINTERSTEIGER.

The device may only be used if it is in good working order, used for its intended
purpose, taking the safety instructions and potential risks into consideration
after reading the operating instructions! Faults which could affect safety shall
be repaired immediately.
