Slide the start button to the "I" (Start) position.

3. Prime the engine by pressing the carburetor priming pump four or five times. You should see fuel inside the
priming pump.
Squeeze the motor by lifting the choke lever and moving it to the'closed' position.

CONTROL POSITIONS (HOT MOTOR)
1. Adjust the throttle trigger to idle speed.
Slide the start button to the "I" (Start) position.

ENGINE START
ATTENTION: When starting the engine, make sure the cutting attachment is not near other people,
animals or objects. This cutting device can rotate during commissioning.
1. Place the tool firmly on the ground, making sure it is stable and that the cutting attachment is not near
any person or object. Hold the outer tube handle with your left hand and grab the starter cord with your
right hand.
ATTENTION: The recoil starter may be damaged if abused.

Always engage the starter before attempting to start the engine.
•
Never pull the starter to its limit.
•
Always rewind the starter rope slowly.
2. Pull the starter rope slowly until you feel the motor engage.
3. Pull the starter rope quickly to start the engine
WHEN THE ENGINE STARTS
Open the choke by lowering the lever. The cutting tool will engage and rotate when the engine is accelerated.
If the engine does not continue to run, repeat the starting procedures (for cold or hot engine).
When the engine starts, clean excess fuel from the combustion tank by accelerating the engine several times with the
throttle trigger (using the throttle trigger automatically deactivates the idle speed).
IF THE ENGINE DOES NOT START
Repeat the appropriate starting procedures for "hot" or "cold" engine. If the engine still does not start after several
attempts, it is probably drowned. Follow the procedure below.
STARTING A DROWNED ENGINE
1. Disconnect the spark plug wire and use the spark plug wrench to remove the spark plug (counterclockwise).
If the spark plug is dirty or impregnated with fuel, clean it or replace it.
2. Open the throttle and firmly squeeze the throttle trigger with your left hand. Quickly pull the starter rope
with your right hand to clean excess fuel from the combustion chamber.

3. Replace the spark plug and tighten firmly. If you have a torque wrench, turn the spark plug to 16.7-18.6 Nm.
Repeat the startup procedure for hot "engine".
