Safety
• The product may be used by children of 8 years and above and
by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capability
or lack of experience and knowledge provided they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the product
in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children
unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
• Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children aged
less than 8 years.
• Children shall not play with the appliance.
• Never use the rice cooker if the mains lead is damaged.
• If the mains lead is damaged, it must only be replaced by
the retailer or manufacturer.
• Check that the power in the wall socket matches the power
on the rice cooker's rating plate (220–240 V).
• Make sure that the lead never hangs down from the table or
counter top. The lead should never come into direct contact
with hot surfaces such as gas rings or electric hobs.
• The rice cooker should only be connected to an earthed
wall socket.
• Do not turn the rice cooker on before inserting the inner bowl.
• Place the rice cooker on a flat, stable surface while it is in use.
• Place the rice cooker out of children's reach.
