Intended use
The product is designed to absorb reflections, echoes and ambient noise during audio recordings. The product
allows good-quality microphone recordings in rooms that are not acoustically optimised. The Professional
Microphone Absorber can be mounted on standard upright microphone stands and upright microphone stands
with boom or positioned straight on the recording desk. The product features a removable microphone holder.
For safety purposes , you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. If you use the product for purposes other
than those described above, the product may be damaged. Read the instructions carefully and keep them.
Make this product available to third parties only together with its operating instructions.

Safety instructions
Read the operating instructions carefully and especially observe the safety information. If
you do not follow the safety instructions and information on proper handling in this manual,

will invalidate the warranty/guarantee.
Persons / Product
The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. These may become dangerous playing material
for children.
Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong jolts, high humidity, moisture,
flammable gases, vapours and solvents.
Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of operation and protect it from any
accidental use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed if the product:

is visibly damaged,
-
is no longer working properly,
-
has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
-
has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.
Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height can damage the
product.
Also observe the safety and operating instructions of any other devices which are connected to the
product.

Consult an expert when in doubt about operation, safety or connection of the device.
Maintenance, modifications and repairs are to be performed exclusively by an expert or at a qualified
shop.

Operation
Do not lift the product on the guide rail or the microphone holder.
The microphone absorber is foldable. For this, loosen the retaining screws on the top of the product and unfold
or fold both sides, respectively. Afterwards, manually tighten the retaining screws again.
Installation on a standard upright microphone stand
1.
Fold the microphone absorber.
2.
Unscrew the microphone absorber's centre leg.
3.
Put the guide rail's round opening over the thread of a standard upright microphone stand.
4.
Put the microphone absorber's free centre thread onto the thread of the standard upright microphone stand
and screw the microphone absorber on.
5.
Unfold the microphone absorber.
6.
Attach the microphone holder to the guide rail. For this, put a washer over the thread of the microphone
holder. Insert the microphone holder's thread through the guide rail's oblong opening. From below, put a
washer on the thread and manually tighten the nut.
7.
Place a microphone in the microphone holder. Make sure the microphone is always centred to the
absorber.
Installation on a microphone stand with boom
1.
Remove the microphone holder and the guide rail from the absorber, if they have already been installed.
2.
Disassemble the boom from the microphone stand.
3.
Loosen the hexagon and retaining screws of both brackets on the back of the product. Use the hexagonal
wrench supplied.
4.
Slide the microphone stand bar through the brackets.
5.
Tighten the hexagon and retaining screws again.
6.
Mount the boom and align it so that the microphone is centred to the absorber.
Positioning on the recording desk

1.
Unscrew the microphone asborber's centre leg and put the guide rail's round opening on the thread of
the leg.
2.
Manually tighten the leg again.
3.
Put a washer onto the microphone holder's thread and insert it from above through the guide rail's oblong
opening.
4.
From below, put a washer onto the thread of the microphone holder.
5.
Attach the microphone holder with the nut, tightening it manually.
6.
Unfold the microphone absorber.
7.
Place a microphone in the microphone holder. Make sure the microphone is always centred to the
absorber.
5.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the household waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory
regulations.
