3.1.1

General

DANGER
The safety regulations according to Section 3 are to be observed.
At the application location, set up the gas burner as level as possible or insert gas burner in a
cooking module or a field kitchen.
3.1.2

Preparing the Gas Supply

1. Position gas bottle in the vicinity of the
gas burner and secure against falling
over.
2. On the gas bottle, unscrew the protec-
tive cap (3/4) from the gas bottle valve
(3/3) (left-hand thread).
DANGER
A securing device against hose breakage is
required when the length of the high-pres-
sure hose between gas bottle and gas bur-
ner exceeds 400 mm.
3. Screw pressure regulator (3/1) with
securing device against hose breakage
(3/6) and high-pressure hose (3/5) via
union nut (3/2) onto the threaded con-
nection sleeve of the gas bottle valve.
4. On the gas burner, remove the red pro-
tection cap on the safety quick-connec-
tor.
5. Insert the plug nipple of the high-pres-
sure hose with light pressure into the
safety quick-connector (4/1) until the
coupling can be heard to engage.
6. Performing a leak test:
After establishing the pressure regula-
tor and the LPG cylinder connection,
the setup must carefully be checked for
leaks with the LPG cylinder open and
the burner/unit shut-off valve closed,
using a foam-forming agent (e.g. leak-
indicator spray).
