Special safety instructions

Do not use the barbecue in a con ned and/or
habitable space e.g. houses, tents, caravans,
motor homes, boats. Danger of carbon
poisoning fatality.
WARNING! This barbecue will become very
hot, do not move it during operation.
WARNING! Keep children and pets away.
WARNING! Do not use spirit or petrol for
lightning or re-lightning! Use only relighters
complying to EN 1860-3.
Do not use indoors.
The barbecue should be placed on a rm,
level surface before being lit.
This surface must be non- ammable, e.g.
agstones, paving stones or packed earth.
The barbecue can also be placed on a table if
a heat-resistant plate is positioned under the
barbecue.
There must be no ammable objects above,
below or near to the barbecue.
NEVER pour lighter uid, petrol, paraffi n or
other ammable liquids onto the barbecue
while it is hot! Doing so can cause ames or
explosions, which can result in very serious
burns!
Do not dispose of embers and hot ash from
the barbecue in rubbish sacks.
Use separate cooking utensils for raw and
cooked meat. Keep them separate to avoid
transfer of bacteria to the cooked meat and
the risk of food poisoning.
The maximum temperature of the barbecue
may be reduced if it is positioned in a very
windy location, or if you barbecue in the
winter, when it may be both cold and windy.
Stainless steel, aluminium and heatproof
paint are available in many diff erent grades.
Common to them all is that the surroundings
and heat will aff ect the metals in the long
term, resulting in colour changes, peeling,
etc.
Stainless steel does not mean that the metal
cannot rust, but is more an indication of how
fast the metal rusts. Rust and peeling that
occur with time due to use are not covered
by the warranty.
Note that the product is diff erent from an
ordinary charcoal barbecue, so the manner of
cooking food, and for how long, also varies.
Preparation
Open the battery cover (11) and insert 4 x 1.5
V AA batteries into the battery compartment
(12). Check that the batteries are correctly
 tted. Replace the battery cover.
If the batteries run out during use, you can
connect a power bank via the USB socket (10)
and so continue barbecuing.
NEVER try to change the batteries while there
are burning charcoals in the barbecue!
