5. Maintenance, Cleaning and Care

5.1 Maintenance

The product and its accessories are maintenance-free and must not be repaired
by the users themselves. For any questions or problems, contact the service
hotline provided on the warranty card.
CAUTION The brakes are the most important component of the product
and must always be in good working condition. Do not modify them in any way.
The brakes should only be maintained and/or replaced by a specialist.
Adjusting the brake cables
If the brake(s) do not work properly, the brake cable must be adjusted on the
respective handbrake and/or on the respective disk brake caliper.
On the handbrakes:
1. Loosen the barrel adjuster A to tighten the brake cable. Turning the adjuster
out tightens the brake cable.
2. Tighten the adjuster locknut B in the direction of the handbrake lever.
On the disk brake caliper:
• Loosen the barrel adjuster C. Turning the adjuster out tightens the brake
cable.
