Select language
In this menu, the user can change the operating language of Data Terminal. The languages available depend
on which language versions have been installed. The user can install, update and uninstall language versions
as they wish using the PC software that can be downloaded from the Oras website.
Functional settings
This menu contains the functional settings of Data Terminal.
Manual selection of device
In this menu, the user can select the device type. This feature can be applied when the automatic
identification of the device is switched off. If there is no device connected to Data Terminal, this menu allows
you to browse the menus for device settings and, for instance, learn how to use the tool. The devices
available have been divided into four groups: Bus transformer, Urinals, Showers, and Faucets. Each group
includes a list of devices that Data Terminal supports. The devices are listed as Oras products numbers.
Automatic identification of device
This menu is used for switching automatic identification feature of device on and off. Data Terminal identifies
a device automatically when the cable is connected thereto.
Additional info on device
This menu is used for switching the Additional info on device display on and off. The additional info menu
contains measurement data that helps in troubleshooting in case of malfunction.
Display backlight brightness
This menu is for adjusting the brightness of display backlight on Data Terminal.
Display contrast
This menu is for adjusting the contrast of display on Data Terminal.
Memory functions
This menu contains the functions for managing the water fitting data stored in Data Terminal.
Browse data in memory
This menu allows browsing the device details stored in memory. The user can browse and compare the
settings for the same types of water fitting.
Clear memory
In this menu, the user can clear all the device details stored in memory.
Send device details to PC
This menu allows sending the device details in memory to a PC. To receive and read the data, the PC
requires special software that can be downloaded from the Oras website.
Audio settings
This menu contains options for alarm tones and key tones of Data Terminal.
Alarm tones
In this menu, the alarm tones of Data Terminal can be switched on and off. Data Terminal will sound an
alarm tone for instance when the battery voltage is too low and the battery should be replaced.
