raacostat ® er static-safe opbevaringssystemer, som effektivt og kontroleret
afleder elektrostatiske ladninger og dermed beskytter de elektroniske
ESDS-komponenter, -print og -udstyr.
raacostat® bevarer kvaliteten på ESDS.
EGEnSkaBER
raaco har specialudviklet disse elektrisk ledende opbevaringssystemer
i overensstemmelse med retningslinierne i CECC 00015. De beskytter
ESDS-komponenter mod ESD og elektrostatiske felter.
Den elektriske ledningsevne er en blivende produktegenskab, hvilket
betyder, at den ESD-beskyttende virkning derved er uafhængig af:
normal brug - slitage - alder - luftens fugtighedsgrad - og andre miljø-
betingende faktorer.

raacostat means static-safe storage systems, which efficiently and in a

controlled manner shunt electrostatic charges and thereby protect elec-
tronic ESDS components, prints and equipment.
raacostat® maintains the quality of ESDS components.
QUalItIES
raaco has developed a special design for these electrically conductive stor-
age systems in accordance with the guidelines of CECC 00015. They protect
ESDS components against ESD and electrostatic fields.
The electric conductivity is a lasting product quality, which means that the
ESD protective effect thereby is not dependant on:
normal use - wear and tear - age - air humidity - and other environmental
factors.

pERSonSIkkERhED
Vi anbefaler, at raacostat -systemet forbindes med jordledning, forsynet
®
med en sikkerhedsmodstand på 1 Mohm 0,5 W for at beskytte personer
imod strømstyrker over 5 mA. Tilslutning af jordledning bør foretages af en
elektriker, der også kan kontrollere, at modstanden er > 750 Kohm, men
< 1000 Mohm.
Er modstanden < 750 Kohm, kan sikkerhedsmodstanden være kort sluttet,
og dette kan medføre personfare.
Er modstanden > 1000 Mohm, er jordledningen sandsynligvis afbrudt, og
dermed forsvinder systemets ESD-beskyttende virkning.
Kravene til personsikkerhed kan variere med nationale regulativer.
2. GRoUnD CoRD
To be connected with the storage unit and a permanent earth connection.
The raacostat ® ground cord is provided with a 1 Mohm resistor protecting
users against electrical shock.
applICatIon
The raacostat ® system should have a permanent and efficient earth
connection preventing static charging.
pERSonal SafEty
We recommend the raacostat ® system to be connected to an earth connec-
tion provided with a safety resistance of 1 Mohm 0,5 W to protect users
against currents of more than 5 mA. The earth connection should be
installed by an electrician, who should also check that the resistance is
> 750 Kohm, but < 1000 Mohm.
If the resistance is < 750 Kohm the safety resistor may be subject to short
circuit, and this may involve personal danger.
If the resistance is > 1000 Mohm, the earth connection is probably discon-
nected and thereby the system's ESD protective effect will disappear.
The demands for personal safety can differ according to national regula-
tion.
