5. Open the inside material cover and flip it all the way from the reinforcement plate to the sides.

CAUTION!
Risk of injury!
Use an 8-mm drill bit to drill the mounting holes from the outside of the EVO
tank bag. Drill through the openings of the drilling jig, as shown. Please place
a piece of wood underneath on the opposite side when drilling. If you intend to
use the EVO lock kit, the EVO tank bag must be drilled out in the middle "anti-
theft device" drilling position on the drilling jig with a 5.5-mm drill bit.

7. Then screw the EVO Top Ring in place underneath the Vanucci EVO Tank Bag, as shown. Observe
the tightening torque for screws of 3 Nm. Fasten the pull cord on the EVO Top Ring to the pull strap
on the Vanucci EVO Tank Bag.
8. Place the Vanucci EVO Tank Bag on the EVO Tank Ring from above with the installed EVO Top Ring.

9. Push the Vanucci EVO Tank Bag firmly onto the EVO Tank Ring. Listen out for the clearly audible
noise as it clicks into place. Then check that the Vanucci EVO Tank Bag is firmly in place. To detach
the Vanucci EVO Tank Bag, simple pull on the pull strap.

Use the water-resistant rain cover included to protect your luggage from moisture. Place sensitive
luggage (e.g. electronic devices) in a plastic bag to provide them with additional protection, for
instance, from moisture. The maximum load is 3 kg. The volume can be increased using the full-
length zipper at the base.

• Make that you never pack sharp, pointed objects or similar items which can
cause personal injuries or damage to the vehicle/product.
NOTE!
Risk of damage!
• Make sure that you never place smartphones, sat navs, PDAs or other
electronic devices in the externally visible compartment in direct sunlight.
The heat of the sun, and inadequate ventilation, can cause damage to
smartphones, sat navs and other electronic devices if the tank bag is left to
stand in the sun for a prolonged period.

7 | Storage

When not in use, store your tank bag indoors for protection against the weather and moisture. The air
humidity should not exceed 80 %. Use a suitable waterproofer to give your tank bag extra protection
