Thank you for buying the ZL500N! Please read the manual thoroughly before bringing this device into service. If the
device was damaged in transit, don't install or use it and contact your dealer.
2. Use
Press the trigger to activate the spotlight and release it to turn it "OFF". Pull the trigger and slide the pin in the handle
downwards to lock the ZL500N in the "ON"-position. Push up the pin again and unlock the "ON/OFF"-trigger and
deactivate the spotlight.
3. Recharging the Spotlight
Use either an AC charger or a 12VDC charger (both are included). The battery should be recharged with the switch
in the "OFF"-position. The red LED will light to indicate that the battery is charging, which takes 14 to 20 hours. The
ZL500N has an autonomy of ± 30-40 minutes when the battery is fully charged.
4. Replacing the Bulb
Always use an H3 halogen bulb (6V/25W): LAMPZL500.
a) Disconnect the ZL500N from all power sources.
b) Remove the bracket and the 6 screws on the right side of the housing.
c) Remove the right side of the housing.
d) Remove the wire spring and the old bulb and insert a new one.
e) Do not touch the glass of the new bulb as contact with the skin may damage it. If necessary, the bulb can be
cleaned with alcohol or window cleaner.
5. Important remarks
- Do not place the spotlight face-down on a hot surface.
- Do not leave the switch locked in the "ON"-position when the ZL500N is unattended.
- Keep the ZL500N away from children.
- Never touch the lens or the bulb.
- Recharge the battery once every 6 months if the spotlight is not frequently used.
- The battery can be charged using either an AC or a DC power source, but the ZL500N is not designed to operate
directly from them. The spotlight may be damaged if used while connected to either a DC or AC power source.
- Do not charge the battery for more than 48hrs at a stretch.
- Do not completely discharge the battery prior to recharging it, as this may shorten the life of your battery.
