precautions, necessary when using the toaster.
• do not lay any objects or food on a working toaster.
• install the toaster on an even horizontal surface.
• do not install the toaster in immediate nearness to easily inflammable
materials (for example, curtains) or combustible materials.
• do not leave a switched on toaster without observation.
• clean the tray for crumbs regularly, do not allow crumbs to accumulate
in the tray.
• do not toast stale and hard bread or pastry — they may inflame at a high
heating power.
• do not extract stuck toasts out of the slots with a knife or any other ob-
ject — an electric shock is possible in case of a contact with a working
heating element.
when we design and manufacture consumer goods, we devote special at-
tention to the safety of our products. however, it is important, that people
would observe certain precautions, when they use electric appliances.
Rules of electrical safety, which must be observed, when using electric ap-
pliances, are listed below:
• Read attentively and keep the instruction, attached to the electric ap-
pliance.
• when disconnecting the toaster from the electrical network, do not pull
by the power cord.
• after finishing using and before cleaning disconnect the toaster from the
electrical network.
• use electric appliances with an extension cord only in that case, if the
cord has been examined by a qualified electrician or a service centre spe-
cialist.
• make sure, that the voltage in the network corresponds with the nominal
power supply voltage of the electric appliance.
• the toaster is not intended for use by children or disabled adults without
proper control.
• do not allow children to play with the electric appliance.
• never leave a switched on toaster without observation.
• use the toaster only for its designated purpose in strict compliance with
the operating instruction.
