g) On your PC, click the Start button and select the Programms > SUNGOO 7.01 > Firmware Update to
start the program.
h) Remove the checkmark in the control box Format data range. Otherwise, your files will be deleted
when updating!
i) Start updating by pressing the Start button. Please wait until the update is complete.
Warning: Do not disconnect the MP3 player from your PC during the update!
j) Stop the firmware update by pressing the Close button.
k) Disconnect the MP3 player from the USB connection of your PC (see "Disconnect MP3 player from
the PC" on page 12).

Turning the device on and off
Turn on the MP3 player by briefly pressing

The MP3 player has different modes. Hold down the M button for approx. 1 second to open the
main menu.
Use the or buttons to select the desired mode and confirm your selection by pressing the
button.
Open and close sub-menus
Each mode has sub-menus. Here, for example, you can select the files that the MP3 player should play.
• Open sub-menu
In the Music, Recordings and FM Radio modes, you can open the sub-menu by briefly pressing the
M button.
In all other modes, the sub-menu is automatically displayed as soon as the mode is selected.
• Select menu item
You can navigate between menu items using the
To select a menu item, press the
• Close sub-menu
Select the menu item Exit to close the sub-menu and return to the main menu.
The sub-menus of the Music, Recordings and FM Radio modes also provide you with the menu
items Music, Recordings or FM Radio. Use these to close the sub-menu and return back to the play-
back function of the mode.
