1. Basic information
Thank you for purchasing this product. When you use the CL
6 for the first time, please read these instructions carefully,
and retain them for reference in future. If you have a techni-
cal question, feel free to contact our service team via email
(service@telestar.de).
2. Safety notice
Please read the safety notices carefully before operating the
lighter. Please note all warnings and instructions both on the
product and in the operating manual.
a) Do not use violence on this product (e.g. by using sharp
objects).
b) Keep the lighter out of reach of children.
c) Always leave maintenance or repair work to qualified per-
sonnel. Ignoring this may endanger yourself and others.
d) The lighter should not be exposed to water or other li-
quids.
e) To remove wax residue from the poles (see pic. 4) please
use a nail file.
f) In order to charge the lighter, please use only a USB port of
a laptop or a mobile charger featuring a maximum power
of 5V DC and 3000 mA. Inappropriate use may result in
danger of explosion!
g) Do not use the lighter for illumination purposes..
h) Please keep enough distance between the lighter and your
own and others faces, skin and inappropriate inflammable
material. In order to prevent from danger, please ensure
that the electric arc is completely switched off after using
the product.
i) Keep the product away from flames, direct sun exposure
and temperatures higher than 50 degrees Ceslius in order
to avoid overheating, fire and malfunction or to shorten
the product's life cycle.
j) Remove the charger immediately after completing the
charging process.

3. Operation
The inolight CL 6 is equipped with a rechargeable Li-Ion bat-
tery (3.7V, 280 mAh). Thanks to booster technology, the low
current potential is amplified to half-sinus high voltage (up to
7kV and 15 kHz frequency), creating a light arc that features
extremely high temperatures. Thus, the lighter is suitable to
easily ignite cigarettes, candles, campfires and other inflam-
mable material. There's no need to use fossil fuel anymore
- the inolight CL 6 is easily charged via USB in just under 3
hours and one charging lasts for about 100 ignitions.
a) Fully charge the lighter prior its first use by using a USB
port (e.g. of a laptop) or a mobile charger (max. power 5V
DC, 3000 mA). Connect the device (see pic. 1) with the
charger by using the included USB cable.
b) The charging process takes between 2 and 3 hours. Ple-
ase remove the device from the charger, it is now fully
operational.
c) Move the safety cover (see pic. 2) to top position and push
the ignite button (see pic. 3). Now bring the light arc to the
material you want to ignite (see pic. 4).
d) Ignition process ends as soon as the ignite button is re-
leased or if the electronic overload protection kicks in after
6-8 seconds of ignition. If the CL 6 shuts down because
of electronic overload protection, the next ignition may be
delayed due to a short cooling phase.
4. CE tag and disposal note
Your device bears the CE mark. TELESTAR-DIGITAL GmbH,

this product complies with all required EU
standards. CE mark for European markets.
The CE mark on the product inolight CL 6
gives you the assurance that the product
complies with the CE regulations. The conformity declaration
for this product can be obtained at www.telestar.de/inolight-

Please ensure that spent batteries and rechargeable batteries
are disposed of professionally, and not discarded in
your domestic waste. The batteries and recharge-
able batteries may contain materials, such as Mer-
cury (Hg), Lead (Pb), Cadmium (Cd) and others.By
making these materials available for re-use, you are making
an important contribution to the protection of our environ-
ment. Please contact your local authority to find your local
disposal centre.
