3.5" 9in1 Cardreader, USB 2.0
Attention: Please install the software supplied with this product before installing the
Multislot card reader!
Installing the software
Place the enclosed CD-ROM in your CD drive.
Select ➪ Start ➪ Run... ➪ and enter "D:\setup.exe" (D: most likely must be replaced
with letter of your CD drive) or click "Browse..." and select the file specified above.
➪ OK ➪ Next ➪ The required files will now be copied from the CD.
In the next window, select "Yes, I want to restart my computer now" and click
➪ Finish ➪ to restart your computer.
Once this is done, remove the CD-ROM from the drive.
Connect the Multislot card reader.
Important Information for Windows XP:
If your Windows XP version does not have Service Pack 1 (Microsoft Update) the
card reader may no longer be available after the system is restarted.
If this is the case, please install Windows XP Service Pack 1 (recommended) or leave
a card (e.g. CF card) in the card reader when you start the computer.
Installing the hardware
Attention: If you are unsure about installing the hardware yourself, please contact
a specialist.
Before installation, switch off your computer and disconnect it from the
mains. Open the PC case.
Install the Multislot in an empty 3.5" bay using the screws provided.
Connect the Multislot to your computer's USB port using one of the
USB 2.0 leads supplied.
Attention: Observe the assignment of the USB connections on your mainboard when
using the internal USB connections.
Check the operating instructions of the your mainboard.
