INSTALLATION
Start by connection the plug from the AC adaptor to
the matching jack on the backside of the clock.
Then connect the AC adaptor to a wall outlet. The
digits in the display will light up. If you wish, you can
connect a 9V battery as a backup for power fail-
ures. (The battery compartment is behind the hatch
on the backside of the alarm clock.) At a power
failure the clock will maintain correct time and light
up again when the power is back. Connect the
shaker plug to the jack on the backside of the alarm
clock. Place the shaker under your pillow.
SETTING THE TIME
Press and hold the button SET CLOCK. Press
HOUR and MIN to set the time. Release the button
SET CLOCK when you have finished setting the
time.
SETTING THE ALARM
Press and hold the button SET ALARM. Press
HOUR and MIN to set the ALARM time. Release
the button SET ALARM when you have finished
setting the alarm. Choose the type of alarm with the
MODE-selector:
OFF, all off
shaker
shaker + audio alarm
snooze light + audio alarm
snooze light + shaker
SNOOZE
Good for us who wants to sleep just a little moment
longer. Press this button and the alarm will stop.
But start again after nine minutes. To turn the alarm
off move the MODE selector to OFF and then back
to the alarm mode you like. An autosnooze func-
tion is activated when the shaker is used. It will
make the shaker pause after 2.5 minutes vibration,
and start again after 9 minutes if you don't press the
OFF-key.
SHUTTING THE ALARM OFF
Press the OFF/TEST-key or move the MODE se-
lector to OFF.
DIMMER
With this selector you can choose the brightness of
the digits.
VOLUME
With this wheel you can set the sound level of the
audible alarm.
TONE
Use this wheel to adjust the tone of the alarm.
SHAKER TEST
You can test the shaker intensity by pressing the
OFF/TEST-key. Select HI or LO vibration with the
selector on the backside.

selector on the backside.
BATTERY
Battery is not necessary for the function. With bat-
tery connected you do not have to set the time
again after a power failure. If you choose to connect
a battery it should be of 9V alkaline type. Check the
battery every year. Old batteries can start leaking
and damage your clock.
CARE OF YOUR CLOCK
The alarm clock can be cleaned with a soft cloth. Do not
apply polishes or strong cleaning agents as these could
damage the moulding. Do not expose the unit to high
temperatures by placing it near radiators etc. Keep the
unit dry and do not operate in outdoor conditions.
TROUBLE SHOOTING
No digits in the display
Check if the AC adaptor plug is connected to the jack on
the backside of the alarm clock. Check if the AC adaptor
is connected to a working wall outlet. Check the wall
outlet with i.e. a working lamp. If the clock still isn't work-
ing please continue to the section WARRANTY below.
Shaker not working
Check if the shaker is connected to the shaker jack on
the back side of the alarm clock. Check if the ALARM
selector is in position ON. Check if the MODE selector is
in SHAKER position. Set an alarm to start in two minutes
and check if the shaker starts then. If it still doesn't work,
please continue to WARRANTY below.
No alarm sound
Check if the ALARM selector is in position ON. Check if
the MODE selector is in SHAKER position. Set an alarm
to start in two minutes and check if the alarm starts then.
Adjust the VOLUME wheel to a louder level. If it still
doesn't work, please continue to the section WARRANTY
below.
WARRANTY
This product has a one year limited factory warranty. The warranty
does not cover accidents, negligence or breakages to any parts. The
product must not be tampered with or taken apart by anyone who is
not authorized by the factory. If the unlikely event of any problems,
please refer to the section Troubleshooting. If you do have to return
the product, please enclose:
Your name and address
A description of the fault
A copy of the purchase receipt
