Dimension of current supply has to be suitable for this actuator. Please take notice of the
voltage and current datas on the data plate. Please check all cables, especially cable
cross section, before putting into operation.
Please check complete system before connect to the mains. The chain actuator is
equiped with internal overload cut off and end switches.

The function of the actuator must be tested periodically by the customer. In case of defect
installer has to be informed at once. Please change defect parts immediately with origine
parts. Actuator to be opened only by the manufacturer.

Maintenance
The device must be used as normally intended. The duration of the operating time must
be observed, please inquire in case of doubt. The device is subject to natural wear and
tear. In case of material defect claims, these shall be asserted in writing, stating the
source of supply of the device. Prescribed time limits and further provisions with regard to
claims for material defects exclusively correspond with our General Terms and
Conditions (download: www.simon-rwa.de

Important: Please consider VDE 0833 for hazard alert systems, VDE 0100 for
electrical system, DIN 18232 for SHEV-systems, the commandments of the local
fire department and of the EVU for the mains connection as well as VBG 4 and ZH
1/494.
Please consider: Force operated windows may not be located within the reaching

The actuators run concurrently, the current supply and the cable cross section have to be
adapted to the systems total current.
Attention:Do not earth electrical connection.

At bottom - hung wings a stay with enough stroke has to be assemble. See that the
actuator is installed on the window or rather on the wing frame durable and that the

Please make sure that the chain actuator switchs off by limit switch at its end position. For
"Close" the limit switch can be fixed by moving the eyescrew on the end of the chain If end
switch will not be arrived the actuator can be damaged.
Attention:
- the minimum height of the wings: at top - hung wings, threefold
- Stroke change (260 / 380 mm) only when the status is dead!
