Safety
General safety instructions
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above if they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way
and if they understand the hazards involved.
• Children shall not play with the appliance.
• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are
aged from 8 years and above and supervised.
• Warning: Ensure that the product is used with the correct voltage, refer to
the rating plate on the product.
• The product must not be modified in any way.
• The product can become very hot during use and cause burns. Special care
must be taken if the product is used in the same room as young children,
aged or infirm persons.
• Warning: The mains lead should be checked regularly. Never use the product if
the mains lead or plug is damaged.
• If the mains lead has been damaged, it must only be replaced by the manufacturer,
authorised service facility or qualified tradesman. This is to prevent the risk of
electric shock or fire. Do not try to repair the product yourself in any way.
• Note: The product is only designed for domestic use or under similar conditions
such as:
- In staff facilities such as changing rooms or cloakrooms.
- In holiday homes and chalets.
- By guests in hotel rooms and other forms of residency.
