3 Assembly and installation

Safety

If the AlphaLUXX exhibits mechanical damage (faulty cables or plugs, cracks, etc.) or electrical defects, it must
be taken out of use immediately. The current national guidelines regarding periodic checks apply.
Hint
To avoid danger, any damaged external flexible cable on these lights must be replaced only by the manufac-
turer, its service representative or a similarly qualified professional.

Supply connections

230V AC connection to connecting cable with 3 wires:
Wire colour brown
Wire colour blue
Wire colour yellow/green = PE
20-48V DC connection to connecting cable with 2 wires:
Wire colour brown
Wire colour blue
Hint
To ensure protection against leaks, the optional screw must be screwed in tightly. According to the TEETUBE
screw fixing manufacturer's information, it must be tightened to a torque of 2.5 Nm.
This must be safeguarded using suitable measures at installation sites where the connecting cable is sub-
jected to particular mechanical stress.
No liability can be accepted for connections that are not established correctly (not completely tight).
Where there are large numbers of LED lights connected in series on each current circuit, we always recom-
mend using LS switch characteristic "D" or switch-on current limiters in extreme cases.
Fault-current circuit breakers must not trip because type "A" and surge current strength 3kA type G pursuant
to IEC 61008 can be regarded as the standard for lighting.

Supply connections for optional dimming function

1-10V dimming function: blue (grey): DIM+ / white (black): DIM-

Assembly

Hint
By default, the AlphaLUXX is supplied with a mounting bracket that is suitable for wall and ceiling mounting.
The AlphaLUXX spotlight must only be installed using the mounting bracket supplied!
The hole spacings can be taken from the drawing under 2.1.1.
Choose fastening materials appropriate for the weight and secure screws to prevent them working themselves
loose if necessary.
