SAFETY INFORMATION

Non-adherence to this safety information and preventative measures can lead to serious injury. Therefore you should read all the instructions
contained within this manual carefully before using your device for the first time.
• Never use this barbecue indoors.
• CAUTION! This barbecue gets very hot. Do not move it when in use.
• Never leave the barbecue unattended while in use.
• Before using the barbecue, position it out of the wind as much as possible.
• Only use commercial barbecue firelighters and follow the instructions on the packaging.
• CAUTION! Do not use fluids such as petrol or similar highly flammable spirits to light or relight the barbecue. Only use firelighters
according to EN 1860-3 standard.
• Do not add lighter fluids or charcoal briquettes, impregnated with barbecue lighter fluid to hot or warm charcoal briquettes.
• Keep a secure distance of 1.5 meters from combustible materials.
• CAUTION! Always keep children and pets away from the barbecue.
• Do not remove ashes until all charcoal briquettes are completely burned out and fully extinguished.
• Always wear heat resistant barbecue gloves when grilling or adjusting the vent holes.
• Do not wear clothing with loose flowing sleeves while lighting or using the barbecue.
This manual should be kept by the owner and be ready to hand at all times.
BEFORE HEATING UP THE DEVICE
• Assemble the device as described in the assembly instructions leaflet.
• Place the device on a level and secure surface.
• Heat the device up before first use and allow the fuel to start to glow for 30 minutes.
• Before lighting the coals ensure that all vent holes are completely open.
• A maximum of 0.8 kg of fuel can be placed in the charcoal grate.
• We recommend using high quality charcoal or coconut husk briquettes instead of ordinary charcoal in order to achieve a constant heat.
Store these in a dry place.
• For a cooking time of approx. 1.5 hours you will need approx. 0.8 kg of charcoal briquettes or approx. 0.5-0.8 kg coconut husk
briquettes.
• Wait to place food on the barbecue until the fuel is covered with a layer of ash.
USE
• The barbecue lid can be set to three positions using the button: half open - quarter open - closed.
• Please note that when the barbecue is set to closed or a quarter open it will get hot very quickly. Never leave the barbecue unattended
whilst it is in use.
• The lid acts as a windbreak in the half open position.
• Please note that the thermometer values are only guideline values.
