Gebrauchsanleitung/Prüfbuch des Produktes fehlt (Da die Produkthistorie nicht nachvollzogen werden kann!) • Siehe auch unter Punkt: 2) Bestimmungen für den Gerätehalter Ergab die Sichtprüfung durch den Anwender, Gerätehalter oder die Sachkundige Person Beanstandungen oder ist die PSA abge- laufen, so ist diese auszuscheiden. Das Ausscheiden hat so zu erfolgen, dass eine Wiederverwendung bei Einsätzen mit Sicherheit ausgeschlossen werden kann (z. B. durch Zerschneiden und Entsorgen der Gurte, Beschläge usw.). Bei oftmaligem Gebrauch, starker Abnützung bzw. bei extremen Umwelteinflüssen verkürzt sich die erlaubte Verwendungsdauer. Die Entscheidung über die Einsatzfähigkeit des Geräts obliegt immer der zuständigen SACHKUNDIGEN PERSON im Rahmen der vorgeschriebenen periodischen Überprüfung. Haftung A. ART Positioner 2 • ISC Mini Ropegrab (Version mit Schraube und Version mit Pin) • ISC Maxi Ropegrab (Version mit Schraube und Version mit Pin) • Petzl Microcender • Petzl Micrograb geprüft und zertifiziert. Daher können diese Seilkürzer mit dem euroline® SCHARFKANTENSEIL „EDGER“ 6 mm und 8 mm ver- wendet werden. Die ordnungsgemäße Montage des Seilkürzers obliegt dem Benützer bzw. einer Sachkundige Person. A. Haberkorn & Co GmbH übernimmt keinerlei Verantwortung für die genannte Seilkürzer selbst - nur für die Funktion in Verbindung mit dem euroline® SCHARFKANTENSEIL „EDGER“ 6 mm und 8 mm. Das Verbindungsmittel darf nur mit CE-gekennzeichneten Bestandteilen einer persönlichen Schutzausrüstung gegen Absturz kombi- niert werden. We congratulate you on having purchased this „euroline® product“. This sharp edge rope „EDGER“ has been manufactured and controlled with a great deal of care and under very rigorous quality criteria. So the requirements for safe use have been observed. Now it is up to you to use this product in the CORRECT way! THEREFORE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE CAREFULLY BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME! Please keep these instructions for use with the product, so you will be able to refer to them in case of problems and fill in the TEST SHEET on the last page carefully. In case of necessary repairs or complaints it is absolutely essential to send us this test sheet together with the product. The sharp edge rope EDGER helps towards the safety of people in areas at risk from falling from a height (especially in areas, where you must expect falls over a sharp edge). It may be used only by people who have the physical and mental capabilities as well as the necessary knowledge (INSTRUCTION according to point 2.4) for safe use. In order to allow the fastest possible rescue of casualties after a fall from a height or any other accident, it is necessary to have an emergency plan, which considers the rescue measures for all possible cases of emergency during work. Safety notes The anchor point from which the equipment is fixed to, should when possible be vertically above the user (in order to prevent swinging in case of a fall from a height) and has to meet the requirements of EN 795 (minimum soundness of 10 kN = 1,000 KG). Please take special care that no sharp edges endanger the anchor device as well as the safe locking of all connectors (karabiners) and their authorisation according to EN 362. The position of the anchor point should always be chosen in a way that the fall distance is limited to a minimum. Take care that the fall zone is calculated so that the user does not fall onto an obstacle in case of a fall from a height and that impact on the ground is impossible. (because the product‘s history can not be traced!) • See also section: 2) Regulations for the holder of the equipment If a visual inspection by the user, equipment owner or a QP has revealed defects or if the PPE‘s lifetime has expired, it must be eliminated. The elimination must be done in such a manner that reuse is excluded with certainty (e.g. by cutting and disposing of the straps, fittings, etc.). In case of frequent use, intensive wear and extreme environmental conditions, the allowed period of use is shortened. The decision on the applicability of the device must always be taken by the responsible COMPETENT PERSON within the prescribed periodic inspection period. Liability A. Haberkorn & Co GmbH is not liable for any direct, indirect or accidental consequences or for any kind of damage resulting from the use of their products. • Or you should provide an adequate edge protection before starting work. (edge protection must be attached safely in sufficient length/size over the whole working area/edge - it must not be able to slip or fall down etc.) • In case of unclarity and doubt do not use the equipment and/or contact the manufacturer. 2. The anchor point must not be on the same level as the edge (sharp edge), where the risk of falling is given. 3. The redirecting angle on the edge, where the risk of falling is given, should not exceed 90° (measured between both redirected rope ends). -
Seite 12: When Using The Sharp Edge Rope „Edger" As Lanyard
The sharp edge rope EDGER can also be used as lanyard for tree care work - please take note that this is not 100% protection against cutting by the chainsaw! Modern chainsaws can easily cut a work positioning rope with steel rope core. The euroline® SHARP EDGE ROPE „EDGER“ of 6 mm and 8 mm has been tested and certified in combination with the already certified rope adjusters • ART Positioner 2 • ISC Mini Ropegrab (version with screw und version with pin) • ISC Maxi Ropegrab (version with screw und version with pin) • Petzl Microcender • Petzl Micrograb Therefore these rope adjusters can be used with the euroline® SHARP EDGE ROPE „EDGER“ of 6 mm and 8 mm. The correct assembly of the rope adjuster is up to the user or a competent person. A. Haberkorn & Co GmbH is not liable for the above mentioned rope adjusters - only for their function in combination with the euroline® SHARP EDGE ROPE „EDGER“ of 6 mm and 8 mm. Euroline® lanyards must not be combined with any other than CE-marked elements of personal fall protective equipment. Their use with any kind of lifting device is not admissible. The lanyards may only be increased or complemented with connectors according to EN 362, with lanyards according to EN 354 and absorption elements according to EN 355. The total maximum length, the adjustable maximum lanyard length + karabiner + tape fall absorber + other connectors must not exceed 2 m. If a lanyard is used in a fall arrester system, a fall shock absorber must be installed reducing the maximum dynamic forces to 6 kN max (e.g.: tape fall absorber according to EN 355). When used in a fall arrest system, a full body harness according to EN 361 is obligatory. For safety reasons it is always recommended to use fall arrest systems as restraint systems, because of the existing big residual risks in case of a fall! Before use in a fall arrester system ensure that the required free space is guaranteed in order to prevent impact on the ground, on objects (e.g. scaffolding parts, machine parts, etc….) or swinging. Lanyards without fall shock absorber may only be used for work positioning and in restraint systems. The length of restraint systems must be chosen in a way that an eventual risk zone for a fall from a height cannot be reached. ATTENTION: The use of two lanyards with an absorption element each in parallel is not admitted! If you work with a double lanyard (Y-system), always hook in both lanyard arms. -

Dans le doute, un produit qui ne semble plus sûr ne doit pas être UTILISE mais remplacé aussitôt. Il faut particulièrement faire attention aux : • dégâts des éléments de soutien et essentiels pour la sécurité comme p. ex. cordes, sangles et coutures (déchirures, coupures ou autres) • endommagements des boucleries en plastique ou métal On ne peut laisser de côté cette inspection que dans le cas où il s’agit d’un élément de l’équipement d’urgence contrôlé préalablement par une personne qualifiée et emballé dans un contenant fermé (plombé). Tenez compte de l’étiquette pour la prochaine inspection périodique et la période maximale d’utilisation (selon pt. 3). -
