Systemvoraussetzung:
• Windows ME/2000+SP3/XP+SP1/Vista/Windows7/
• freier USB-Anschluss, vorzugsweise USB 2.0
Installation
A) PC/Notebook anschalten, komplett hochfahren.
B) USB-Kabel anschließen. Erst in den Kartenleser, dann in den
PC/Notebook.
C) Hinweise beachten und Installation abschliessen.
D) Ab sofort ist der Kartenleser funktionsbereit.
Achtung:
Vergewissern Sie sich dass der Datentransfer beendet ist bevor Sie die
Speicherkarte aus dem Kartenleser entnehmen. Verwenden Sie immer die
Funktion „Auswerfen" Ihres Betriebsystems bevor Sie eine Speicherkarte
aus dem Kartenleser entfernen (Rechts-Klick auf das Laufwerkssymbol der
Speicherkarte im Explorer oder Arbeitsplatz ==> Klick auf „Auswerfen").
Andernfalls kann ein Datenverlust nicht ausgeschlossen werden!
Wichtiger Hinweis zur Verwendung des IBM/Hitachi Microdrives:
Da dieser Kartenleser nicht über einen Auswurf für CF-Karten verfügt, ent-
nehmen Sie den Microdrive nur, indem Sie diesen an den Seiten festhalten!
Starker Druck auf die Ober- und Unterseite des Speichers kann diesen
nachhaltig beschädigen. Ein Datenverlust wäre nicht auszuschließen!
Beachten Sie bitte auch das Handbuch Ihres Microdrives.

Mac OS 10.x

• Free USB port, preferably USB 2.0
Installation
A) Turn on and fully start up the PC/laptop.
B) Connect the USB cable. First connect the card reader, then
the PC/laptop.
C) Observe the instructions and complete the installation.
D) The card reader is immediately operational.
Caution:
Ensure that data transfer is complete before you remove the memory card
from the card reader. Always use the "Eject" function of your operating
system before you remove a memory card from the card reader (right-click
on the drive symbol of the memory card in Explorer or My Computer ==>
Click on "Eject"). If you do not do this, data may be lost.
Important note regarding the use of the IBM/Hitachi Microdrives:
Since this card reader does not support ejection of CF cards, remove the
Microdrive only by gripping it tightly on the sides. Strong pressure on the
upper and lower sides of the memory can damage it permanently. Your
data could be lost. Please also follow the instructions in the manual of your
Microdrive.

• Do not connect the device if the device, network adapter,
or connection line is defective.
• Repair work may be performed only by specialist workshops
or service centres.
• Use only original parts.
• All devices must bear the CE marking.

• Caution: Keep children away from electric and electronic
devices.
• Caution: Keep children away from packaging material.
