The AlphaClean filter is designed for installation in rainwater tanks, and is available in
this size:
DN 100
The AlphaClean filter works in 3 stages:
1. The rainwater from the roof via the downpipes flows into the container and is
filtered
2. The filtered rainwater is collected in the container
3. The contaminated residual water (filtered-out impurities) is discharged into the
sewer
Roof surfaces made of slate, clay tiles or concrete blocks are ideal. Roofs with bituminous
felt are not recommended. Unsealed asbestos cement roofs are not suitable because
fibres from the roof can mix with the water and accumulate in the filter.
