Troubleshooting
If you keep your MASTER CARD in front of the reader too long (more
than 5 seconds), the reader will start to flash a red light and will switch
to Delete mode. Please remove the card immediately and wait
until the blue LED light switches on. Please proceed again to the
Enrollment mode.
If the enrollment of a car key is rejected, please check if the
transponder has been integrated correctly.
Mercedes manufactured car keys rely on infrared based immobilizers
and do not function with integrated transponders. Therefore, this type
of key cannot be identified by MACO openDoor Transponder-Plus.
There are however many low-budget transponders
(e.g. 125-Hz-types) available on the market - in the shape of key
rings, cards, small glass tubes or stickers – that work well with MACO
openDoor Transponder-Plus and that can be easily placed on
Mercedes keys.
Deletion of Access Authorization
Deletion of single keys
1 Place your MASTER CARD directly in front of the reader for
more than 5 seconds. Remove your MASTER CARD. A red LED
flashing slowly will indicate that the "Single key deletion" mode
is now active.
2 Place your key, key card or chip in front of the reader until the red
LED turns on. The key, key card or chip has now been
successfully deleted from the memory of the device.
