HINTS AND TIPS
• Only slice food such as cheese, meat, vegetables and soft bread. NEVER cut frozen
food, meat with bones, fruit with stones or very hard food with this slicer.
• If slicing juicy ingredients, for example tomatoes or rare cooked meat, use a damp cloth
to wipe up juices between slicing, to avoid these getting into the mechanism.
• Always remove foil, cling film, string and any wrappings or packaging from food
before slicing.

Question:
Why is the slicer not working?
Answer:
Check that the slicer is plugged in and switched on. The slicer blade will only
rotate and slice if the blade lock button is pressed at the same time as the
on/off button.
Question:
Why is food sticking to the blade?
Answer:
If food is getting stuck to the blade while slicing, switch off and unplug the
slicer at the socket and carefully wipe the blade with a clean damp cloth.
