Inserting the Batteries:
Use a coin of similar object to open the Battery compartment cover by turning
counter clockwise. Be sure to observe correct polarity when inserting the battery.
The – sign on the battery must face you when the battery is inserted.
Turning ON and OFF
Press the button "TARA/ZERO ON/OFF" to turn on the scale. "8888" and then "0"
will be displayed.
Units for Measure
Press the button "MODE" to select the metric or imperial unit.
Tare Feature
Use the button "TARA/ZERO ON/OFF" to use the tare function to reset the scale
to "0" under weight for adding specified weights. You can add up to 2500 g of
additional material.
Power Save / Manual Off:
If the scale is not used for more than two minutes, it will automatically turn off.
For a longer battery life turn the scale off after use. Press and hold the button
"TARA/ZERO ON/OFF" for a few seconds until the scales turn off.
Replace Battery:
Replace the CR2450 Battery when the low battery symbol
display.
Overload:
Remove overload if "Err" appears in the Display.
Cleaning:
Clean with a slightly damp cloth. Do not use abrasives or aggressive chemicals.
Do not immerse the unit in water or other liquids.
