OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Important instructions for use
• The limits for impaired driving differ from country to country. A low blood
alcohol concentration of, for example, 0.2 – 0.4 ‰ can lead to impaired
driving charges due to individual alcohol tolerance.
• In Germany, with "signs of impairment" from 0.30 %, criminal prosecution
and a possible fine could occur.
• The test result with this alcohol tester should be used only as a guide.
This alcohol tester is not valid before the law nor is it an authorised
testing tool of the traffic authorities. It can only give you tips for
responsible conduct.
• This alcohol tester cannot authoritatively determine whether a person is
able to operate a vehicle or machinery after having had an alcoholic drink.
• Readings are not guaranteed.
• Do not drink any more alcohol for 20 minutes before conducting this test.
Otherwise, incorrectly high values will be shown.
• You should refrain from smoking and eating for 20 minutes before the
test.
Conducting alcohol test
• Press the power button (6) for approximately 1 second in order to switch
the device on. You will hear a beep and the LCD display (2) is illuminated.
