Proper Use
This wenglor product has to be used according to the following
functional principle:
This lens is a fixed focal length lens wich has been developed
for mega-pixel color cameras with 1-2 mega pixels. It is most
suited for use with FA and machine vision.
Attention!
• Do not look at any sorts of strong illuminant such as the sun
through the lens. Eyes could be harmed.
• Do not leave or store the lens under direct sunshine. The
lens may condense light on a near-by object, and cause a
fire.
• Lens and its accessories are extremely precise instruments,
then be sure not to apply the strong impacts to them.
• There may be a case that the glasses of the lens mist when
the lens is carried from a cool place to a place of high tem-
perature and high humidity. To avoid a mist on the glasses,
before moving the lens, let the lens adjust to the ambient
temperature of the place where the lens will be used.
• For safe storage of the lens, avoid hot or humid place, and
avoid places containing corrosive gas or salt.
• Put the cap on the lens while the camera is not used for a
long time.
Safety Precautions
• This operating instruction is part of the product and must be
kept during its entire service life.
• Read this operating instruction carefully before using the
product.
• Installation, start-up and maintenance of this product has
only to be carried out by trained personnel.
• Tampering with or modifying the product is not permissible.
• Protect the product against contamination during start-up.
• These products are not suited for safety applications.

Ce produit wenglor doit être utilisé selon le mode de fonction-
nement suivant :
Cet objectif possède une distance focale fixe et a été conçu
pour des caméras couleur méga pixel avec 1-2 méga pixel.
Il est au mieux approprié pour le traitement industriel d'image.
Attention!
• Ne regardez jamais par le biais de l'objectif dans une
source lumineuse forte comme le soleil.
• Ceci pourrait mener à de graves blessures oculaires.
• N'exposez jamais l'objectif à la lumière directe du soleil.
L'objectif peut focaliser la lumière sur un objet et provoquer
un incendie.
• Les objectifs sont des appareils très exacts. Il faut faire
attention à ne pas les cogner.
• Il se peut que les lentilles soient couvertes de buée lors du
transport d'un objectif d'un endroit froid à un endroit avec
une température élevée et une humidité d'air élevée.
Afin d'éviter cette buée, adaptez l'objectif à la température
ambiante avant l'utilisation.
• Ne conservez pas les objectifs à des endroits chauds et
humides et des endroits où se trouve du gaz corrosif ou du sel.
• Couvrez l'objectif avec son couvercle de fermeture si vous
n'utilisez pas la caméra à long terme.

• Cette notice d'utilisation fait partie intégrante du produit et
doit être conservée durant toute la durée de vie du produit.
• Lisez la notice d'utilisation avant la mise sous tension.
• L'installation, les raccordements et les réglages doivent être
effectués uniquement par du personnel qualifié.
• Toute intervention ou modification sur le produit est pros-
crite.

Mounting Instructions
Mounting, initiation and maintenance of the existing product
exclusively by competent personnel.
Press the threaded portion of the lens mount against the
threaded portion of the camera mount, slowly rotate the lens
clockwise, and screw in the lens mount to be installed on the
camera.
Adjustment
Iris Operation: Loosen the iris locking knob (X). Rotate the iris
ring of the lens. For "CLOSE", rotate it clockwise, as viewed
from the camera side. Tighten the iris locking knob.
Focus Operation: Loosen the focus locking knob (Y). Rotate
the focus ring of the lens. Operate the ring to "FAR" side to set
the focus to infinity; operate the ring to "NEAR" side to set the
focus to near.
Tighten the focus locking knob.
Maintenance Instructions
• Be careful not to damage the lens surface in cleaning.
(1) To remove dust on the lens: Brush "trash" or "dust" off with
an oil-free soft brush or a blower-brush (for photography use).
(2) To remove oil on the lens: Wipe water drops or oil off
the lens with a clean soft cloth and dry the lens surface. Then
prepare oil-free and washed out cotton cloth or lens cleaning
paper with alcohol for desinfection or lens cleaning liquid.
Wipe the rest of the dirty off gently with the cloth or paper by
moving spirally from the lens center towards its rim. Repeat
wiping with another wet cloth or paper until the lens becomes
completely clean.

able or irreparable products. Respectively valid national waste
disposal regulations apply to product disposal.

Instructions de montage
Utilisation du diaphragme: Dévissez les vis qui verrouillent le
diaphragme (X). Tournez l'anneau du diaphragme de l'objectif.
Pour « fermer » du point de la vue de la caméra, tournez dans
les sens des aiguilles d'une montre.
Serrez les vis pour verrouiller le diaphragme.
Utilisation du foyer: Dévissez les vis qui verrouillent le foyer
(Y). Tournez l'anneau du foyer de l'objectif. Positionnez l'an-
neau sur « FAR » afin de positionner le foyer sur le champ de
distance.
Positionnez l'anneau sur « NEAR » afin de positionner le foyer
sur le champ de proximité.
Serrez les vis pour verrouiller le foyer.
Instructions de maintenance
• Faites attention lors du nettoyage de la surface de la lentille
qu'elle ne soit pas endommagée.
(1) Dépoussiérage de la lentille: Dépoussiérez et nettoyez la
lentille avec un pinceau non gras et doux.
(2) Dégraissage de la lentille: Essuyez les gouttes d'eau et
d'huile avec un chiffon doux propre et essuyez pour sécher la
surface de la lentille. Préparez des chiffons en coton non gras
et rincés ou un papier de nettoyage de lentille avec un liquide
de nettoyage pour lentille. Essuyez avec précaution le reste
des salissures à l'aide d'un chiffon ou d'un papier en formant
des mouvements en spiral allant du centre de la lentille au bord
de celle-ci. Répétez l'essuyage à l'aide d'un chiffon ou d'un
papier jusqu'à ce que la lentille soit entièrement propre.
Mise au rebut
La société wenglor sensoric GmbH ne reprend ni les produits
inutilisables ni les produits irréparables. Veuillez respecter la
réglementation en vigueur en mettant le produit au rebut dans
un endroit prévu à cet effet par les autorités publiques.
