 Never put any metallic objects into the grille openings of the
appliance.
 Be careful, the top grille will become very hot during use.
 Do not operate the appliance with wet hands, on a damp floor
or when the appliance itself is wet. Do not touch the power
plug with wet hands.
 Do not allow the cable to hang over sharp edges and keep it
well away from hot objects and open flames (e.g. gas oven).
Remove the plug from the socket only by pulling on the plug,
never on the cord.
 Do not use the appliance outdoors.
 Always remove the plug from the power socket when the
appliance is not in use and before cleaning it. Never use the
cable to carry the appliance.
 Do not toast bread slices which are wrapped in aluminium or
plastic foils.
 CAUTION: bread can burn. Never use the toaster near or
underneath curtains or other flammable materials.
 Never cover the appliance during use.
 Place the appliance on a level surface during use. Do not
place the appliance in a sink, on a drip board or on any in-
clined surface. Do not allow the cable to hang down or to touch
the toaster during use.
 Do not use the appliance if it has been dropped or otherwise
damaged or if the cable or plug are damaged. In case of dam-
age, contact our customer support department or a profes-
sional.
 Do not disassemble the appliance and do not try to repair it
yourself. The appliance does not contain parts serviceable by
you.
 The unit is intended for use up to 2000 m above sea level.
